Two Langholm Hills
We will meet as usual at the Kilngreen car park at 9.45. We set off gradually climbing the side of Whita Hill and take the path to the Malcolm Memorial. Then we descend and walk left above the golf course and reach the old railway line and Skipper's Bridge. Then we start to climb Warbla admiring the views from the top before walking down the track to refreshments at the church coffee/tea afternoon, £2 admission plus sales table. What more could anyone want? A dry sunny day would be good!

Riggindale Round. The easy scramble to High St. round Riggindale is one of the quietest and most remote walks in the Lake District and is a delightful one to follow. We park at the end of Haweswater and follow the lakeshore path round for about half a mile before heading steeply up from The Rigg. The crags are beautifully named - Swine, Heron, Eagle, Rough and Riggindale Crags. None of them in any way difficult. There is a bit of a steep climb up to the summit of High St where we will probably take lunch (£80 in advance if you want the tasting menu, otherwise bring your own) and then head onto Kidsty Pike and back to Haweswater. Not difficult of tricky at all,but a bracing walk with wonderful views if the weather is clear.
