The first of our Friday social evenings and we kick off our winter programme
with a cooking demonstration by celebrity chef John Crouch.
When he cooks, you’re not just told about the ingredients and how to make the dish, John explains the history, science, development and stories surrounding a dish.
Ask him a question and at least two or three stories bubble up to help explain the answer.
It’s not boastful or vain, well, maybe just a little bit, he just wants to properly explain the whys and wherefores.
It should be a very interesting and entertaining evening.
