Due to unforseen circumstances, the B and C parties combined to walk the coastal path from Sandyhills to Kippford. The weather was perfect with a breeze along the cliff top, and nobody seemed to mind waiting for the slower members of the large party. Lunch stop found us beside a memorial to a shipwreck long ago, no surprise that there were many along this wild rugged coastline. The walk went off without incident except for one person who mistook a bog for the path, (it appears that it was a similar incident that was the first meeting with her future husband) so you know what to do ladies! By the time Rockcliffe was reached there was a big run on "Mr. Whippy's" and we mingled with the crowds for a while. Kippford was just as busy (in the cafes) and the one near the bus wouldn't serve pots of tea, otherwise it had been an excellent day,
thank you Nancy for keeping a large group under control.
