Walla Crag & Ashness Bridge
A great walk today led by Geoff Senior. His walk description, passed round on the bus, was brilliant. Full of quotes from boring old Alfred. He might have been boring but he was right about the Borrowdale Valley, it is a wonderful area.The weather was fantastic, a bit cold when the wind blew but otherwise it was perfect. A big welcome to David, a new member out on his first walk, hope he enjoyed it and we didn't put him off. I think he must have liked it, as he is coming on the Arrochar Alps trip next month.
