Great North Air Ambulance

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing on behalf of the Great North Air Ambulance to ask if you would be kind enough to mention us to the rest of your group at your next meeting. We have an exciting opportunity coming up. We are opening an office in Penrith, which we will require the help of volunteers to run. We need people who can commit to either half a day, a full day or more. Full training will be provided. For a full job description please see the attached file.

If this is something you are interested in or would like some more information please contact myself or a member of staff on the number below, preferably before Friday 30th January.

GNAAS is a charity operating a fleet of helicopters across an area of 8,000 square miles, covering the North East, North Yorkshire and the whole of Cumbria. Our helicopters can be anywhere in the region in fifteen minutes. On board are specialist trauma doctors and paramedics, bringing Accident and Emergency expertise to the scene, giving the patient the best possible chance of recovery.

As you may already know, GNAAS does not receive any Government or Lottery funding and has to rely on the generosity of businesses and the general public to raise nearly 4 million pounds a year to maintain this life-saving service.

If you are interested and would like more information about GNAAS we are also available to come a do presentations and talks.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Many Thanks

Heather Stamper
