There were ten on this lovely walk along the river Nith. Although the day started out cloudy and cold, by the time Kingholm Quay hove into view the weather had taken up and we took a well deserved rest in the sunshine. A lovely stroll back on the other side of the river took a little to long for our anticipated break at 'The Usual Place' so we forewent that and had a coffee in Costa in Carlisle after we disembarked from the train. A nice walk with good company, it was good to see you all.
