I hope you don’t mind me reaching out – I work for a company called Intrepid travel and we are currently recruiting for freelance walking leaders for 2023 to lead our Hadrian’s wall walk and are looking for locals with an interest in hiking and local history and with the passion to share it with our customers.

Our daily rates start from 120 Euro per day and we include all the accommodation for the duration of the trip as well as the costs of transport to and from start/finish points. We also provide a meal allowance. It’s a freelance position so work is sporadic so will suit someone that is either semi-retired/retired or is able to commit to working seasonally for us. We provide full training at our annual leaders training in Slovenia before the start of the season in April 2023 (we cover the cost of bringing the successful applicants to the training as well as accommodation and board)
