Martindale New Church-Hallin-Sandwick

7 Miles Grade 3

Leader: Lynda Lowthion

Tel: 01768 897162 - 07917153064

We park at the top of  Martindale, at the New Church ( St Peters)…  taking the path that takes us on the start of a steady walk up the Fusedale Valley, turning right, and walking down hill with Martindale on our left. We continue to the bridge and walk along the track to Sandwick, walking alongside the lake shore and back around Hallin Fell to the car park. This walk is a figure of eight, we get lovely views along the way, taking it steady this is not that strenuous, we get the climb out of the way in the first 90minutes, and it is fine views and comfort stops along the way. Hoping for a sunny day.
