A weekend in Scotland

Friday 24th August – Monday 27th August 2018

Friday

Drive to Ullapool – it’s a long way, about 350 miles

Saturday

Sandwood Bay

A walk in along a moorland track is amply rewarded when the fabulous views of Sandwood Bay come into view, perhaps the most beautiful beach in Britain. Spend time exploring the mile of golden sand and dunes, with rocky cliffs and a giant sea stack to complete the scene.

A  warm up walk for what’s to come on Sunday.

8 Miles Grade 4

Sunday

Suilven

Suilven may be only 731 metres high, but its unique outline, challenging remoteness and superlative views make it one of the finest mountains in Britain. Without doubt one of the best walks you will ever do. It’s a long day, 7 mile walk in, 700 meters ascent, 7 mile walk out. We have all day so we will take our time. It’s an unforgettable walk and worth every step.
