Enjoy our beautiful countryside, fresh air, exercise,
keep fit, make new friends, have fun.
Leisurely walks, gentle fells, hills and mountains in the Lake District,
Yorkshire Dales, the Borders and Northumberland, there's something
for everyone in our friendly club.
New members always welcome and visitors to the area are welcome
come and join us.
Car walks meet at the Sands Car Park Carlisle, at 9.00am on a Sunday, 9.15am on a Wednesday and from May to August 6.00pm on a Thursday. The Sunday coach walks leave from Rosehill (Free Parking) outside the Pioneer Food Hall at 8.50am, from the Beehive,
Warwick Road, shortly afterwards and from the Sands at 9.00am unless otherwise stated.
There are also Tuesday walks , every other week, short easy walks for the less able, which leave from the bus or railway station.
Walkers should keep the pace set by the leader and wear suitable clothing & boots. Dogs are not allowed on
coach walks but are allowed on some car walks provided the owner uses their own car.
Coach: £10 Car: £8 contribution, is recommended, to the driver.
